Reading Rockets are excited to announce the signing of talented British guard, Zain Poorman, for the upcoming 2024/25 season. Standing at 6’4″ (1.93m), Poorman joins us after an impressive stint with Essex Rebels in the National Basketball League (NBL) Division 1.
Poorman, known for his all-around game and court vision, had a standout 2023/24 season with Essex Rebels. He showcased his versatility by averaging an impressive 10.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game, demonstrating his ability to impact the game in multiple ways.
Before his time with Essex Rebels, Poorman honed his skills with the Solent Kestrels during the 2022/23 season, where he continued to develop his game and contribute significantly to the team’s success.
