Reading Rockets are thrilled to announce the signing of talented British guard, Victor Olarerin, for the upcoming 2024/25 season. The 6’3″ (1.91m) skilled player joins us from Essex Rebels, where he made a significant impact in the National Basketball League (NBL) Division 1.
Olarerin, known for his athleticism and defensive prowess, had an outstanding 2023/24 season with the Rebels. In a standout performance against Loughborough, he led all scorers with an impressive 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals, demonstrating his all-around capabilities on the court.
Before his stint with Essex Rebels, Olarerin showcased his talents with Thames Valley Cavaliers and Nottingham Hoods. During his time with the Cavaliers, he averaged an impressive 17.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game across 25 NBL appearances.
