Lewis Champion is back for another season with Rockets. Lewis has been competing at the top tiers of British Basketball for over 10 years now. Having risen through the youth ranks at Rockets, He went up north to Northumbria University through the mid-2010s before Bristol Flyers of the BBL Swooped in and picked him up. Whilst at Bristol, he was seen as one of the premier playmakers in the BBL, he also spent one year at Thames Valley Cavaliers before re-joining Rockets during the 2021-2022 season.
Lewis brings a veteran presence to a youthful team, his impact as a cool-headed guard will be felt throughout the team heading into the 2022-2023 season. Lewis has the ability to control the offense with an outstanding eye for a pass, while also poses a scoring threat. He averaged 9 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists and 1 steal during the 2022-2023 season whilst shooting 35% from deep.
