Joe Edwards Joins Reading Rockets as Non-Executive Director

Reading Rockets is delighted to announce that Joe Edwards has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director, Marketing and Special Projects, on the Board at Reading Rockets Basketball Club. 

Joe is the Chief Marketing Officer at Super League Triathlon (SLT) where he helps to grow and engage audiences across multiple channels, in doing so, driving value for partners. Before joining SLT, Joe worked for the Federation of International Basketball (FIBA), delivering high impact global campaigns, content and communications, working with pro players, world-renowned influencers and media outlets to deliver maximum exposure and impact for the federation.

The members of the board work on a voluntary basis to provide strategic oversight, governance, financial scrutiny and guidance to the organisation. Their work ensures that Reading Rockets are able to operate effectively as it supports the growth and sustainability of basketball in the Thames Valley area, as well as developing homegrown talent towards the pro leagues.
