Immediately Rockets Chairman Gary Johnson, was aware that the young but experienced guard Elvisi Dusha had returned from Kosovo, he and Head Coach Manuel Pena Garces were quick to meet the influential guard and secure his commitment to Rockets.
‘ We’ve been looking to strengthen our young and inexperienced team and when Elvis was available, I was most hopeful that we could secure his signature’ said the excited Johnson. ‘To have done that and begun his European clearance within 12 hours is most pleasing. We sincerely hope Elvisi is cleared to play in a crucial double header next weekend’ Johnson added.
Dusha has been playing for local rivals and BBL outfit Surrey Scorchers for 3 years and gained international experience with the Albanian team in the summer. Johnson is still looking to add another big man to the squad.
