Reading Rockets are delighted to announce the re-signing of point guard Jax Bouknight for the 2026/27 season.
Jax joined the Rockets for his professional rookie season in 2025/26 and quickly became an important part of the team.
Across 29 games, he delivered highly efficient and consistent performances while helping Reading win the BCB League title and reach the playoff final.

Assists: 5.0 per game
Rebounds: 2.1 per game
Steals: 1.6 per game
Minutes: 30.0 per game
Jax provided scoring, playmaking and defensive energy throughout the season. His ability to control the pace of the game, create opportunities for teammates and contribute at both ends of the court made him a key player in the Rockets’ successful campaign.
Speaking about his return, Jax said:
