What a weekend for Reading Rockets as their Senior Men secured a Championship Play-off Final spot having won away at league runners-up Derby Trailblazers. Then on Sunday Rockets Ladies followed suit by defeating Essex Blades who had pipped them by a single point in the National Cup Final two months ago to join the Men in the Manchester extravaganza on Sunday 24th<\/sup> April.<\/p>\n

Additionally on Sunday, Rockets Junior Men (U18\u2019s) defeated Leicester Riders to reach the National Final Fours in Manchester too, \u00a0a week later. Having accomplished all three successes is a first for Rockets in their 18 year history and a fantastic achievement reflecting the players, coaching teams and volunteers who are the backbone of the Club.<\/p>\n

It is great that both the Ladies and Men have reached the Championship Play off finals on Sunday 24th<\/sup>.\u00a0 However as the ladies tip is at 11am they will be travelling up on the Saturday evening, but as in previous years, we are considering taking a luxury coach to Manchester for the Men\u2019s game- which tips at 4pm and will arrive approx. 2-2.30pm which will enable people to see much of the Men\u2019s Division 2 game as well.\u00a0\u00a0 Whether or not we have a coach will be dependent on the numbers of supporters seeking to join the team on that Sunday.\u00a0 The cost for the coach alone will be \u00a335 adult and \u00a320 junior.<\/p>\n
